Description

An advanced-studies institute aimed at researchers, faculty or PhD students working in the field of modeling wave and ocean phenomena.

This PASI, titled “The science of predicting and understanding tsunamis, storm surges, and tidal phenomena”, was submitted to NSF in early 2012, and selected for funding in August. It will be held on January 2 – 13, 2013 at Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, in Valparaíso, Chile.
