Final exam grades on Autolab
5/14/13 8:08 PM
We have graded the final, and the scores have been released on Autolab. We do not return final exams, but you can make an appointment with me to see your final if you would like, as I have to hold on to them for a long time.

We will attempt have course grades finalized by tomorrow evening. We will not be releasing further information about curve, cutoffs, and so on (sorry!).

This will be my next-to-last reminder: please fill out instructor and TA evaluations! These are really valuable to us. Thank you if you have already done so, and see you all on Monday!
Picking up homework and midterms
5/06/13 9:54 PM
In addition to one-on-one meetings (@1928), there will be sporadic office hours scheduled later this week and over the weekend. Just check the Google calendar at http://symbolaris.com/course/pic13.html

Any office hours in GHC 9101 can be used to pick up old homeworks or midterms, and I've also listed several times on the Google calendar when I'll be in my office for people who just want to pick up old homeworks or midterms.

And, as another reminder, we will really appreciate if you can take a few minutes to fill out course evaluations:
Reminder: do the quiz! Also, modified office hours this week.
4/30/13 10:58 PM
You have about an hour left.

Instructor feedback
4/30/13 2:07 PM
In addition to seconding the request for TA feedback (@1801, http://tinyurl.com/ta-15122-s13/), I would like to please ask you to fill out your faculty course evaluations for 15-122.

This feedback is really, really helpful to helping us improve the course and improve as instructors, and I appreciate you spending a couple of minutes to help us out.
Lecture 26 Notes Available

Thanks to everyone who came to class today!
Quiz 7 Available (Take it before midnight Tuesday!)
4/28/13 11:35 PM
Quiz 7 should now be available for Pittsburgh. It is based on the last two lectures about graphs:

Lecture 24: http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~rjsimmon/15122-s13/24-search.pdf
Lecture 25: http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~rjsimmon/15122-s13/25-spanning.pdf

Take it before Tuesday night! I'm a bit worried that giving two days for the quiz actually makes it easier to forget, so I suggest you pretend it's due midnight Monday! :)
Quizzes in Pittsburgh and Qatar (Now-Tuesday)
4/21/13 10:10 PM
Quiz 6 covers the material covered in the C lectures. Pittsburgh students should take this quiz.

Quiz 7 covers graphs, breadth-first search, depth-first search, and spanning trees (but not minimum spanning trees or the algorithms for finding them). Qatar students should take this quiz.

MAKE SURE YOU TAKE THE CORRECT QUIZ. You will end up pretty unhappy if you are a Pittsburgh student and you click on Quiz 7, since we're covering the relevant material this Tuesday and Thurdsy.

Both quizzes available from midnight Monday EST (2 hours from now) until 11:59pm Tuesday EST (50 hours from now).
