Project 3 has been put up. It's due in 3 week; however, there will be another project due on December 4 which will be put up in a week or so. So start early!
Accessing IDA in the MSSI lab

Here are the instructions from Chris Venghaus,
There is an OVF file (which works for VMWare and VirtualBox) on the Shared (S:) drive of all the machines in the lab. Students can copy this image to their local drives or laptops (by connecting to //RAIN) and have access to IDA within the MSSI lab.
idal, idal64, idaq, and idaq64 are all installed in /usr/bin, so you’ll need to run ida via the command line.
The password for idauser is: ida@jhuisi!2014
The password for root is: isi@jhu!2014
You will be using idaq to read binaries.
