A lot of us are happily using Piazza. More importantly the students love it. I have been using Piazza for all my classes now. I let my TAs and Tutors and the students themselves decide which resource they would use for our online class discussion board. If they are part of the decision making, they are more likely to participate in the online discussions. Pretty unanimously they pick Piazza, especially after using Piazza and a couple others to have an informed choice. For me, getting students who want to participate is the biggest win for Piazza. The fact that I like it and I find it easy to use is somewhat secondary. :)
I happily use Piazza in all my classes, since it provides students an excellent way to engage in discussions on homework problems and programming projects. My TAs and I can respond to questions whenever we have time, and very often, students chime in on the discussions to help one another.
In general, I have found Piazza to be better than anything I have used in the past, mainly because of its simple/clean and intuitive interface. Thank you for developing Piazza; you have made an important and substantial contribution to higher education. You have made my life easier, and students' lives better!
Instructors can create a Piazza for their class with a single click.
Students and instructors are automatically enrolled with appropriate roles, based on the course roster.
When clicking on Piazza in TritonLink, users are automatically signed in to Piazza, so there's no need to remember a separate user name and password.
