Description
This seminar course will introduce statistical methods for analyzing data that naturally lie in non-Euclidean spaces. Examples of such data include directions, shapes, tensors, and trees. Sub-topics include geometric and computational tools, Frechet mean and variance, probability models, and large-sample asymptotic results.
