Hi All,
As you (hopefully) all know, our second midterm for Econ 1 is next Monday, the 19th of November. I know a lot of people were unhappy with their midterm 1 grades, so this time around we have more review materials/resources so everyone can get a fabulous grade!
We have three practice midterms posted on aplia and on piazza. Currently, answer keys are up for two of the practice exams; I will have the third answer key up by this evening. In my opinion, these practice tests are your best study tool, and I highly recommend working through each test multiple times.
We also have two review sessions scheduled. Professor Fung will be holding his review on Friday from 5-6pm in Classroom Unit 2. I will be holding my review session from 10am-noon on Sunday in Classroom Unit 2. I know 10am is a bit early for a Sunday, but do keep in mind that parking on campus is free on the weekends.
At my review session we will be going over some slides I’m preparing and also work through some problems, much like the review session for the first midterm. I will post my slides on aplia and piazza once they are complete.
Lastly, I will be holding extra office hours on Monday directly before the exam from noon-1:50pm at Joe’s (I will try to get a table outside this time!). If you have any last minute questions, or just want to see some problems worked through, come on by and see me!
Well, that is it on my end. As always, let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Happy studying to all!
Best,
Maggie

Aplia Course Key
10/01/12 10:07 AM
Hi All!
We now have the course key for registering on aplia. It is: KYF5-8TSU-M72R. Instructions for registering are posted in the resource section. When registering for the course, do not pay for aplia yet -- you will be overcharged! The price currently being charged on aplia differs from the price quote the company gave us (which was $90). Aplia will honor the $90 quote they initially gave us, but it will take a few days for the price to be officially OK'd by management and put into the system. Aplia has a grace period for payment so waiting to pay will not affect your ability to access assignments. We will notify everyone once the $90 price has been finalized.
