Description

This course is an introduction to the physics of systems containing many particles. It emphasizes three methods that are crucial to contemporary science: the kinetic theory of gases, thermodynamics, and statistical mechanics.

Concepts in Thermal Physics, Blundell and Blundell, second edition, 2010.
