Use formatting options in the menu bar under Format to bold, underline, and italicize text. You can also use bulleted and numbered lists by clicking on the bullet list and numbered list buttons on the toolbar. A basic list looks like this:
Use LaTeX to express even the most complicated mathematical expressions in pretty print on your computer. Click the fx button on the toolbar to use the LaTex Equation Editor. Alternatively, start and end your LaTeX block with "$$" and use standard LaTeX in between (View LaTeX Reference).
Want to include a code snippet? You can keep code indented and easy-to-read by clicking on the code button on the toolbar.
Embed images in your post by first clicking the image icon in the toolbar. You can now link to an existing image by entering the image URL into the Source field. Or you can upload a new image by clicking the file icon.
Quickly embed a video from YouTube or Vimeo by clicking Insert -> Insert Video from the menu bar. Enter the video link in the Source field.
You can add a reference to another question or note by typing @number (for example, "See also question @42"). You can see the question number in the address bar as you select it.
You can create a table by clicking on Table -> Insert Table from the menu bar. A basic table looks like this:
To include a link in the question or answer, simply click the link icon on the toolbar and enter the text to display and the URL.
You can write text right to left by clicking on the Right to Left icon on the toolbar.
